【摘要】:Thisproceduremeasurestheamountofthemorevolatileconstituentsincutbackasphalticproducts.Thepropertiesoftheresidueafterdistillationarenotnecessarilycharacteristicofthebitumenusedintheoriginalmixture,noroftheresiduewhichmaybeleftatanyparticulartimeafterfieldapplicationofthecutbackasphalticproduct.Thepresenceofsiliconeinthecutbackmayaffectthedistillationresiduebyretardingthelossofvolatilematerialaftertheresiduehasbeenpouredintotheresiduecontainer.1.1Thistestmethodcoversadistillationtestforcutbackasphaltic(bituminous)products.1.2ThevaluesgiveninSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
