【摘要】:Thistestmethoddeterminestheaveragelength,width,andsquarenessofsheetsofpaper.Itmayalsobeusedtodeterminethedifferencebetweenconsecutivesheetsinalotofpaper.Itisespeciallyusefulwithprintingandwritingpaperswhichhavebeencuttospecificsizes.Theprocedureisapplicabletoawiderangeofsheetdimensions,includingdimensionsassmallas1.6in.(41mm)toaslargeas60.2in.(1530mm).Whilenotthesubjectofthistestmethod,theequipmentdescribedmaybeusedtodetermineuniformityofholepunchingandvariousprocessvariablesrelatedtothecuttingofsheetingpapers.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
